Community Service For College
An important aspect in the admissions process is community service. The type and length of service gives the college a broad look into the applicant personality and interests.
What does the admission committee look for in community service?
Many look for applicants who can balance academics and community involvement.
The key aspects to community service are commitment, leadership and accomplishment.
My Advice:
Be honest about your community involvement and avoid resume building, utilize your guidance counselor, and stay focused...the rewards are endless!
